Preamble: General Terms and Conditions of Carriage
These Terms apply to your use of:

By creating an account, making a booking, or using our Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

You recognise that personal data is given to us for bus transport and related administration. You authorise us to retain and use such data, transmit it to our offices, and include your name on passenger listings where required. Marketing use requires your prior permission where consent is required.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy, including GPS location, push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and Stripe payments.
3. Changes to these Terms
TravelMaster may change these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Updated Terms are published on our website and apply from the date stated. Material changes may be communicated via the app, website, or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, except where further consent is required by law.

Tickets may be delivered electronically (app, email, or account). Present valid confirmation at boarding. See Travel Info for practical requirements.
4.4 Intellectual property
Travelmaster.ie, the Travel Master app, and their content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit our content or software except to use the Services normally. Other use requires our prior written consent.

7. Period for which your ticket is valid
Your Ticket covers the journeys and services stated for the event and route booked.
8. Carriage of children and young persons
Services are not directed at children under 16 without adult involvement.
9. Concessionary travel scheme
We are not part of a Free Travel Scheme and do not accept the Department of Social Protection Free Travel Pass.
10. Refunds (voluntary cancellation by you)
No-quibble refund on tickets cancelled up to 7 days before the event, subject to a 10% cancellation fee per ticket.
Email [email protected] with your booking reference. After that deadline, fares are non-refundable except under Sections 11–13 or as required by law.
11. Involuntary refunds (our failure to provide service)
If we cancel, fail to operate to schedule, cease a route, or overbook and you reasonably do not travel, you may claim a full refund equal to the fare paid.
To claim:
Claims within 14 days of scheduled travel unless otherwise agreed.
No compensation for consequential loss beyond the refund, except where non-excludable law requires otherwise.
12. Bereavements
Bereavement of an immediate family member within fourteen days of travel: refund of fare paid minus 10% administration fee per seat, with death certificate, application by proposed travel date.
13. Breakdown and delays
Journey times are estimates. Delays beyond our control: we are not liable for resulting loss or inconvenience, except where non-excludable law applies.
14. Pick-up times
We may change pick-up times up to 24 hours before the event. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you by email, app notification, or SMS.
15. Cancellation by us (insufficient bookings)
We may cancel if there are insufficient bookings. Notice as early as possible, up to 24 hours before departure, via booking contact details. Full refund where we cancel in advance.
16. Cancellation by the artist, promoter, or event organiser
If the event is cancelled, refunds apply except as follows:
17. Additional services / suppliers
You receive a service organised by Travelmaster Ltd, possibly operated by third-party carriers. We select suppliers with care but are not responsible beyond our legal obligations. By booking you agree to these Terms.
18. Conduct
Misconduct endangering others, obstructing staff, breaching instructions (smoking, alcohol, drugs), or causing harm may result in restraint, disembarkation, refusal of onward travel, or prosecution.
19. Refusal of carriage
We may refuse carriage if notified in writing, or if including:
Refusal or removal may cancel unused Ticket with no refund and no liability for consequential loss, except where non-excludable law applies.
20. Luggage
We are not responsible for loss or damage to luggage except where non-excludable law requires. The driver decides what is carried. Notify us in advance of large items.
Baggage may be inspected; under-floor storage may be required. You are liable for damage your luggage causes.
Lost luggage
Reasonable care for found items; disposal after 14 days if unclaimed. We may examine property; perishables/dangerous items may be disposed of within 48 hours. Hand found property to staff.
Liability limits apply to employees and representatives; total recovery shall not exceed our liability.
21. Notices on vehicles
No bill, poster, or notice on a vehicle without our written consent.
21.2 Vehicles facilities
We operate a range of vehicles and cannot guarantee that air conditioning will be available on every service.
22. Third-party platforms (Apple, Google, links)
22.1 App stores
The app may be distributed via Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for our Services, transport, refunds, or content.
Transport tickets are purchased via Stripe, not Apple or Google in-app billing, because you are buying a real-world service.
22.2 External websites
We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from our Services.
23. Advertising
We do not endorse third-party content or advertising on linked websites.
24. Complaints and correspondence
Contact us as soon as possible:
Complaints within 7 days of travel, or 14 days for delay/refund requests, from the date of travel or service use, unless law requires longer.
25. Consumer rights (Ireland / EU)
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory statutory consumer rights under Irish and EU law, including unfair terms, conformity of services, and transport remedies.
Distance bookings (online or app) may have additional rights. Contact us or the CCPC in Ireland for guidance.
26. Governing law and disputes
Irish law governs these Terms. Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to EU consumer rights to sue in your country of residence where allowed.
27. General
If any provision is invalid, it is severed and the remainder continues in force.
